Statistics learning with cases/projects
AbstractIn statistics, case studies and projects are traditional approaches to uncover casual paths and mechanisms. Case studies and projects make teaching more effective and may facilitate students’ learning allowing them to use statistical methods in order to analyze real data.
Papers presenting the author’s experience on comperative case studies, snapshot case studies, pre-post case studies, patchwork case studies, longitudinal case studies, community based projects, elementary and preschool based projects, real-life examples and experimental designs are welcome for this session.
